Carpet Tile

Carpet Tile

Carpet tile are a popular and practical option as they are installed using release systems, which means that the carpet tile is installed onto a tackifier adhesive which allows individual tiles to be uplifted and replaced as and when spillages occur, or if they become damaged. They are versatile, durable and are available in a variety of designs, colours, textures and sizes, which includes plank format. They are generally constructed in various forms including fibre bonded, loop pile and cut pile.

They are a great way of introducing colour and design into any workspace and an ideal flooring solution for Classrooms, Offices, Open Plan Office Areas and Conference Rooms etc.

Contract Carpet

Contract Carpet

Contract carpet is produced in sheet form, it is available in both 2 and 4 metre widths and installed using the direct bond method, which means that the sheet carpet is directly glued onto the subfloor. Generally contract carpet is manufactured in fibre bonded and loop pile, it is very hard-wearing and cost-effective. It is used extensively in Schools, Colleges, Universities and Halls of Residences etc, and is ideal for areas including Classrooms, General Offices, Residential Bedrooms Corridors and Communal Areas

Contract carpet is also available with an impervious backing which makes it the perfect product for settings such as Nursing Homes and Nurseries.

Flotex’ s unique construction means it is durable and easily cleaned, just like a hard floor, however it delivers the warmth and luxury of a carpet.

Broadloom Carpet

Broadloom Carpet

Broadloom carpet is constructed in various forms, designs and colours and is normally manufactured in 4 and 5 metre widths, however other widths can be custom made to order. They are installed using either the stretch fit method or the double stick method, depending upon the circumstances.

Stretch fit is where the carpet is stretched tightly onto gripper rods which are placed around the perimeter of the room. This method is suitable for smaller areas where commercial traffic is lighter, such as Hotel Bedrooms.

Double-stick is where the carpet is directly glued onto the underlay, (the underlay must be suitable for the double-stick method). This method is suitable for larger areas where commercial traffic is heavier, such as Hotel Foyers, Communal Areas and Corridors.

Entrance Matting

Entrance Matting

Entrance matting not only helps keep your workplace clean and tidy as it minimises transferable dirt and debris from the outdoors, but it also helps keep it safer by reducing the amount of moisture being brought in, therefore reducing the chances of slips, trips and falls.

Matting generally comes in 3 forms, either loose lay mats, sheet/tile matting or a matting system. Loose lay mats can be manufactured to specific sizes, they are very easily moved to alternative locations and they can be externally cleaned. Sheet matting is generally produced 2 metres wide but it is also available in tile format. It can be easily installed into any shape or size area and is generally a very cost-effective Entrance Matting. Matting systems are normally custom made for specific high traffic areas and are installed into preformed mat wells. Outdoor products are also available, which further enhances the effectiveness of the system in general.
